1) INTRODUCTION
This course is mainly designed in response to cater for the increasing
demand from the homoeopaths / graduates of India/ Pakistan & African
sub-continent, to increase their wisdom and knowledge about the latest
development in the practice of homoeopathy in the United Kingdom.
Allen College of Homoeopathy is a fully recognised education provider. Its
under-graduate course is affiliated/recognised by the following THREE
largest accreditation body here in the United Kingdom:

2) DURATION
3 weeks intensive and condensed programme.
3) PRE-COURSE REQUIREMENT
A) Successful completion of Undergraduate course from a government or other
recognised College.
B) Adequate written and spoken English to participate in facilitated
sessions and complete examinations.
4) COURSE STRUCTURE
I. WEEK-1:
A) Materia Medica:
(i) Personified approach with modern interpretations of old proving
symptoms;
(ii) Clinical and Comparative Materia Medica with emphasis on Lesser Known
Medicines, when well selected remedies fails;
(iii) Group Characters of medicines;
(iv) In-depth discussion of mental essences from Modern Materia Medicas;
(v) Key characters of polychrests and essence of each medicine is presented
in a synopsis so you grasp a remedy picture through a few words only (please

site for details);
(vi) Pictorial representation of drug pictures.
B) Case Taking & Practice Management:
(i) Approach used in England with emphasis on emotional essence and
personality characteristics;
(ii) Inter personal skills development.
C) Repertory:
(i) Cross referencing emotional rubrics;
(ii) Computer aided modern Repertory programmes.
II. WEEK-2:
A) Developing individual research topics (subject will be allocated to each
participant) and write a thesis on the project. A short examination will be
held on your project presentation.
B) Dissertation/thesis presentation within the Allen College research
guidelines.
This is to comprise:
i) Three of your improved/cured cases, giving detailed reason for
prescriptions. Medical reports (blood analysis, X-ray, radiography reports
etc.) and photographs with a permission statement from each patient.
ii) Clinical evidence of process, measurement of improvement and
justification of treatment and chosen potency.
iii) No fewer than 2 follow-ups will constitute a valid case.
C) Some additional lectures and guidance.
D) Opportunity to join the regular Post Graduate course classes at the Allen
College and inter-exchange with the Post graduate students.
III. WEEK-3:
A) Participation in an intensive International Summer School (the detailed
timetable can be viewed at the web site under Summer School).
B) Clinical exposure within “Allen Clinic”, teaching clinic of Allen College
of Homoeopathy.

conventional medication and experience shows after 40-50% weaning off;
uncontaminated symptoms of the natural disease sufaces and give scope
for constitutional prescribing) when well selected remedies fails;
iv) Group Characters (e.g. common characters of Natrums, Kaliums,
Calcarea etc.) of medicines;
v) Key characters of polychrests and essence of each medicine is
presented in a synopsis so you grasp a remedy picture through a few
words only (e.g. retention for Nat.Mur; Anchor for Pulsatilla; Principle
for Kali Carb; Unfulfilled for Tuberculinum etc.);
vi) Pictorial representation of drug pictures.

9) TRAVEL HELP & VISA
Please contact a good travel agent who has experience in applying for U.K
Visa.
You might think that our Post Graduate Programme can be your best option but
this is a 2 years programme and it is expensive to live in England
for longer period, as we do not offer any scholarship.
In reference to this context, please note that the 3 weeks “P.G.Hom Course”
is a short but intensive programme and as we are listed as a
recognised "Education Provider" therefore, you can apply for a 'student visa'
which hopefully will be granted by the High Commission of the United Kingdom
in your country, provided you can satisfy the High Commission with ample
documentations that you will return to your own country after the course. On
receiving your 'advance deposit', we will send you an official invitation
letter from the college for processing your visa, as well as our travel
agent may also be able to offer you some guidelines about the documentations
you need to obtain your `student visa’ for your short visit to England.
Therefore, if you like to come to England; the 3 weeks “P.G.Hom Course” will
be your best choice. You will be awarded the certificate from Allen College

12) HOW TO APPLY
A) Please send the completed application form, photocopies of all
your credentials (especially DHMS/BHMS/Equivalent Under Graduate Course
Certificate/Mark sheets) and a non-refundable
deposit of British pounds 200 (two hundred only), which will be deducted
from course-fees when you join the course. If your visa is not issued by the
British High Commission of your country for some reason, we will refund GBP
£100 as a gesture of good will.
